Well, here I am in my senior picture, all the way back in 1995. And as you are going to see, my hair has come a long way. Here, I am putting on my "professional" look!
Throughout my freshman year of college, I decided to let my hair grow out, and that it did.
In the summer of '96, I had my friends put some "corn rows" in my hair while we were at the beach, in Ocean City.
That week, I also had to let my hair down. . . or up in this case. And yes, all of that is actually my hair!
Once I got home, I went for a neutral look. . . I put my hair in braids!
That's my dog, Chow, by the way.
When Sophmore year came around, I decided to calm down. I actually have a normal hair style. . . except it's red!
. . . little did I know, but more change was still to come!
So, red was out, and blonde was in. . .
. . . then blonde was out, and, I swear that's not me. . .
That's my twin, yeah twin, that's the ticket! I did design the T-shirt, though!
Well, I couldn't walk around looking like that for long, so I went for the clean shave. . .
I let my hair grow back in, but as you have seen so far, I can't keep a hair style for too long.
I started my Junior year with some hair, but after about a month, I shaved it all off again. . .
This is my "Ode to 2pac" look. Oh yeah, that's my buddy Lefty. He attends the University of Clarion.
With a lot of patients and frustration, I managed to let my hair grow long again. It looked really awesome at the begining of my Senior year because I used a lot of sun-in over the summer. It was about 10 different shades, and my roots started to show!
Finally, someone gave me good "corn rows"! Do ya like?
They were only half way done, but I had to get a picture.
Last, but not least, this is what I looked like in early October 1998, before I had to get back into my "professional" look for student teaching. . .
That's Melinda. I escorted her in the homecoming parade. . . no, we didn't win!
That brings us to my hair style today. Do you think it will stay this way for long???
